Zoro Feigl nominated for NN Group Art Award
During Art Rotterdam 2017, the NN Group wil present its first contemporary art prize: the NN Group Art Award. This prize is for exceptional artists who received their training in the Netherlands, and whose works are in the fair. This new award, meant as encouragement and stimulus, puts the spotlight on the exceptional quality of art education in the Netherlands. From all over the world, young artists flock to the Dutch academies. Their influence on the development of the art of international significance. Not only young talents are eligible to win the prize, but also artists who are already a more advanced in their career.
The award is a cash prize of € 10,000,-. NN Group will also purchase a work by one of the four nominees for the company’s own collection. The winner will be announced at the Art Rotterdam press preview on Wednesday 8 February, from 12 to 13 hrs.
The four nominees for 2017 are:

Florian & Michael Quistrebert Juliette Jongma, Amsterdam

Antoine de Werd, Collector
Hilda Bouma, Coordinator culture of the Financial Times
Els Drumming, Curator NN Group art collection
