Remy Jungerman in New York
C&H artist Remy Jungerman is back in New York for a residency, and he’s showing the fruits of his labour at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art (HVCCA). Between I & Thou includes artists from many different areas of the globe, exploring interconnections between the personal, cultural, religious and national. The works reflect the human need to tell the story of self and society, offering a rich conversation about the sameness and differentness among us. Jungerman, HVCCA’s winter Artist in Residence, will show his geometric works that weave the influence of traditional Surinamese textiles with Dutch modernism.
